How it works
- Parallel Installation: The bypass switch is installed in parallel with the device it's designed to protect or bypass.
- Rerouting Power/Data: When activated (manually or automatically), the bypass switch redirects the flow of power or data away from the primary system or device and through the alternate pathway.
- Isolation and Maintenance: This redirection allows for the isolation and safe servicing, maintenance, or replacement of the primary system or device without interrupting the operation of connected equipment.
- Return to Normal: Once the maintenance is complete, the bypass switch can be switched back, reinstating the primary system and returning the power or data flow to its original path.
