  • Protection: The unit is described as oil-tight, dust, and vermin-proof with an IP65 rating for polycarbonate versions, ensuring operation in contaminated atmospheres.
  • Voltage/Current Rating: The contacts are generally rated for 415V AC, 4A (AC15 utilization category) or 220V AC, and can handle a conventional free air thermal current of 10A.
  • Mechanical Life: Surdhi products are designed for long mechanical life, with limit switches (part of the same product family) rated for up to 20 million operations, indicating general product durability.
