ONLOAD Changeover Switch – [SURDHI]

The SURDHI Mounting Extension is a dedicated mechanical panel accessory designed specifically for SURDHI ONLOAD Manual Changeover Switches (ranging typically across Size 01 for 100A and 200A models). It allows the internal cubicle-mounted changeover switch to be operated safely from the exterior door of an electrical panel using an extended shaft arrangement

• Extension Shaft / Spindle: A rigid metal rod that inserts into the switch core and matches the depth of your electrical cubicle panel.
• External Front Handle Assembly: An ergonomic manual lever mounted on the outside panel door, featuring clear visual position indexing
• Door Interlock Mechanism: Prevents the panel door from being opened when the switch is engaged in the "ON" positions for advanced safety.
• Padlocking Plate: Built-in slots that allow technicians to insert padlocks in the OFF (0) position to strictly comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) workplace safety protocols

• Standard Action: When the external handle is moved to Position I (Grid) or Position II (Generator), an internal mechanical latch hooks into the door bracket. This prevents any operator from accidentally swinging the panel door open while the switch contacts are live under load.
• Maintenance Override: The handle assembly contains a restricted mechanical "defeater screw." Authorized maintenance electricians can turn this screw with a specialized tool to safely open the door for thermal imaging or troubleshooting while live.
